The Letting People

The Letting People website uses Noisegate CMS to control much of its content, but a key part - its property database - comes from an external system.

VTUK's Gemini lettings management system has the ability to push a property database directly to RightMove. We've been able to use the same data feed to populate the property listings on The Letting People's own website, either via an automatic update overnight, or Anthony and Caroline's team can use a bespoke CMS module to grab data immediately.

A natural progression was then the creation of automatic alerts for househunters; visitors to the site can choose to receive details via email whenever The Letting People have a property available that meets their specific criteria.

A bonus for The Letting People has been reduced paperwork: we asked them to explain some of their processes and suggested replacing paper with web forms for everything from valuation requests to tenancy renewals.

The site has been built with growth in mind: as The Letting People open new branches it'll be easy to add branch profiles and more Gemini data feeds to the website.
